MY SCOOTER AND ME
Just sittin’ here waiting for the dawn,
Hypnotized by the images of flickerin’ flames.
Eatin my beans, smokin’ my herb
No one around, just an old hooter in the
Pine tree an’ my scooter waitin’ for me.
Just sittin’, waitin’ for the new dawn
As the eagle looks for the mouse
In its flight, the flickerin’ flames look for life.
Beans keep disappearin’.  Each toke of smoke
Makes me remember I’m near broke
Just sittin’, waitin for the new day
Flames of images, flickerin’ to a dying glow.
Hooter gone; eagle got the mouse.
The stream flows from high above
As stars leave the night skies.
Dawn is here, songs of darkness long gone.
And again it’s my scooter an’ me.
A little weed; a little gas; sure could use some ass.
Another day, another town.
Flames have died, images gone
But right now, it’s my scooter an’ me.
